Yesterday Travis, Dan, and Mitch took CEMOR to
LEGOPalooza at
Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. LEGOPalooza is an annual LEGO exhibition coordinated by the
North Carolina LEGO Users Group. Space at LEGOPalooza is tight, the Apex Androids shared a small table with an FLL team – the Androids had the table on Saturday, the FLL team will be on display on Sunday.
Even with the space limitation, CEMOR was a hit! The team figured out they could safely shoot wadded up balls of paper into the crowd to simulate what CEMOR actually does in competition. There was a lot of interest in the robot and the team collected almost $100 in donations toward their trip to Atlanta.
